Criminal law regulates public relations as a result of committed crimes. Bulgarian criminal law has the task of protecting the person, the rights of the citizens and the overall established legal order in the country from criminal offenses. The main Acts codifying the Bulgarian criminal law are the Penal Code and the Criminal Procedure Code.
